Collection of Award Certificate


Graduates of 2022

Under the special arrangement during the pandemic, your award certificate will be delivered by courier / registered mail specially this year. Posting of certificate will be free of charge should you have completed Online Registration earlier and with the terms and conditions mentioned at the end of this message.

Collect by Post

As the Online Registration is now closed, if you will need to receive your certificate by post, you must write to Registry by email to gc@eduhk.hk with your full name, student number and corresponding programme code/ title for special arrangement.

* Graduates MUST provide 8-digit student number as payment reference. Please note that there will be a handling charge for Bank’s Correspondent/Agent, please check with your bank for details and make sure your T/T remittance amount is in HKD and covered the charges as well as the HK$65 postal fee.

Graduates are to be reminded once again that you MUST provide us with an up-to-date mailing address clearly and accurate when completing the Online Registration form. The University bears no responsibility for any loss of the certificate during postal delivery due to an incomplete or incorrect mailing address.

Collect in person

You could collect your certificate either in person or by an authorized person (authorization form) from our Information Centre, (Room A-G/F-11, CKCF Building (Block A), Tai Po) during office hours starting from 6 January 2023 by appointment.

Please note that early collection before 6 January 2023 will not be entertained.

To request for collect in person, graduates should write to Registry by email to gc@eduhk.hk with their full name, student number, the corresponding programme code/ title and a designated collection date (from 6 Jan 2023 onwards) and time in advance.

The confirmed collection time range and the details of the required supporting documents upon collecting the certificate in person/ by an authorized person will be specified in our reply to your request.

Please be reminded that upon collection of the certificate from our Tai Po campus during the confirmed time range, you or your authorized person must:

  1. PRESENT the confirmation email from Registry for inspection at the entry; and
  2. USE the "LeaveHomeSafe" Mobile App and PRESENT the blue QR code with either Electronic Vaccination Record / Exemption Certificate for inspection at the campus entry according to the University's latest health and safety precautionary measures. Please refer to the Estates Office's latest announcement of "Latest "Vaccine pass" Arrangement for Campus Entry" (https://www.eduhk.hk/eo/info_news.htm) for details.

Terms and Conditions

  1. The University bears no responsibility for any loss or damage of the certificate during postal delivery.
  2. All graduates are reminded to settle all outstanding fees/charges/library liabilities and return all loan items to the respective unit. Your academic documents (including award certificate) will be withheld by the University if there are outstanding fees or other items to be returned.
  3. Kindly note that the certificate will only be issued ONCE to each graduate. In case there is loss or damage to the certificate during postal delivery, you can apply for Replacement of Certificate. The application form for the replacement of certificate can be obtained from the Registry website. Please read the important notes on the form and follow the application procedures.
