Enhanced KMB Route 74K Service


Dear Graduands and Visitors,

Re: Enhanced KMB Route 74K Service During Graduation Ceremony 2022

With the close collaboration of KMB, we are pleased to inform you that KMB is going to enhance their Route 74K service between Tai Po Market Station and EdUHK on the 5 consecutive Saturdays from 19 November to 17 December 2022 to facilitate the graduates and guests to attend the Graduation Ceremony 2022 with details as follows:

For AM session, other than the regular services, the following enhanced frequencies will be introduced during the specified periods.

  • Inbound Departures from Tai Po Market Station will be operating at 10 minute intervals from 0900 to 0940.

  • Outbound Departures from the EdUHK will be operating at 10 - 15 minute intervals from 1155 to 1235.

For PM Session, other than the regular services, the following enhanced frequencies will be introduced during the specified periods.

  • Inbound Departures from Tai Po Market Station will be operating at 10 - 15 minute intervals from 1310 to 1400.

  • Outbound Departures from the EdUHK will be operating at 8 - 12 minute intervals from 1618 to 1658.

To avoid possible traffic congestion and unnecessary delays on such important days, you are strongly advised to consider using U-Shuttle or the enhanced KMB 74K service or other public transport options instead of driving to the campus.

May we remind you again that unless with prior approval, no vehicles will be allowed to enter the campus and the University may implement/ adjust other appropriate traffic control measures when necessary.  We have also sought the assistance of the Police to exercise regulatory traffic control measures outside the campus on the days of Graduation Ceremony.

​​​​​​​九巴路線74K 於 2022年畢業典禮期間加強服務

各位畢業生及來賓

為配合2022年大學畢業典禮，於11月19日至12月17日期間連續五個星期六，九巴路線74K將加強服務班次，詳情如下：

上午場次

  • 0900至0940由大埔墟站開出的班次將加強至10分鐘一班；

  • 1155至1235由教大開出的班次將加強至10至15分鐘一班。

下午場次

  • 1310至1400由大埔墟站開出的班次將加強至10至15分鐘；

  • 1618至1658由教大開出的班次將加強至8至12分鐘一班。

物業處強烈建議畢業生使用大學巴或公共交通工具，包括九巴路線74K的服務，以避免交通阻塞及不必要延誤。

除非已預先申請及獲得批准，否則所有車輛不得進入校園。
